Biography / Administrative History Xenia Prochorowa was born in Moscow in 1915. She studied piano at the Moscow Conservatory with Prof. Karl Kipp, and later with Nicolas Medtner. In 1933 she was the winner of the International Franz Liszt Competition in Budapest.
